The Importance of Palliative Care with Dr. Laura Petrillo
The Young Lung Cancer Initiative hosted a webinar with Dr. Laura Petrillo, who is a palliative care physician at MGH in Boston, MA. She is the Principal Investigator of the POISE study (“Patient-centered, Optimal Integration of Survivorship and Palliative Care”) for people living with advanced lung cancer receiving targeted therapy. Many concepts in this video are valuable to all people living with any type of cancer. TKIs (Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors) discussed include those for oncogenes such as EGFR, ALK, ROS1, KRAS, EXON 20, HER2.
