Kendra Scott Gives Back: In Loving Memory of Tiffany Job
July 25–26, 2026 · Online at kendrascott.com. Tiffany shared her lung cancer journey with openness, courage, and authenticity, becoming a source of hope and education for people around the world. She was passionate about raising awareness for young-onset lung cancer, a proud supporter of YLCI, and a lover of Kendra Scott jewelry.
A very dear friend of Tiffany's, Melissa, organized this two-day virtual Kendra Gives Back event in Tiffany's honor and chose YLCI as the organization to support.

YLCI's Back to School Gift Card Program provides one-time gift card assistance to help ease the back-to-school costs for the children and families of young lung cancer patients. Open to US residents only. Applications are open through Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Recipients will be notified by Monday, August 3, 2026.

A Grief Support Group for the Young Lung Cancer Community
Join us the first Tuesday of every month at 1 PM EST for a safe, non-judgmental virtual space where those who have lost someone in the young lung cancer community can grieve, connect, and be understood.

YLCI’s Virtual Summer Book Club
A virtual summer book club for the young lung cancer community, reading The End of My Life Is Killing Me by NYT bestselling author and lung cancer patient Annabelle Gurwitch. We'll meet Thursday evenings at 8 PM EST, discussing two chapters at a time, with dates spaced to fit your summer. Patients and care partners are welcome.

Spring 2026 Shared Moments, Lasting Memories Patient Giving Program
In Spring 2026, YLCI launched its Shared Moments, Lasting Memories Patient Giving Program, providing experience-based support to help young lung cancer patients create intentional, meaningful moments. This program was created in part in loving memory of Mike Scaglione, diagnosed with stage IV HER2 lung cancer at 45, who believed life is measured not in years, but in moments.
Winter 2025 Patient Giving Program
In Winter 2025, YLCI launched a Patient Giving Program providing small, meaningful gift card support to young lung cancer patients in our community during the holiday season.
Together for 30
Together for 30 was an informal one-time virtual gathering for YLCI patients and their loved ones – a low-key, no-agenda space to simply show up and connect with others who get it.
Wonders and Worries Q&A
In partnership with Wonders & Worries, YLCI hosted a live Q&A on talking to children about a parent's lung cancer diagnosis, offering YLCI patients and caregivers a space to ask questions and get real guidance on one of the hardest conversations families face.
Twist Out Cancer
Virtual art therapy session just in time for Valentine's Day- a creative space for the young lung cancer community to practice a little self-care and connection.
The Jackie Banana Wanderfund Travel Grant Program in partnership with YLCI
Young Adult patients living with advanced stage lung cancer who qualify, received a $500 grant towards their leisurely travel getaway! Multiple grants were offered to patients on a first come, first served basis.
